The Dalmatian Pelican is the largest freshwater bird in the world. Seen all over Eorope and Asia its numbers have been in decline being only 20,000 recorded individuals making it a concern. It hasn't been seen in the U.K. for over 2000 years till recently when it was spotted in Cornwall.
